Our goal is to create a supportive environment where people can learn and improve their skills. We work with local and social entrepreneurs to help our members make a positive impact in their communities. To do this, we organise events and workshops where our members can meet and learn from others who share their interests.

We firmly believe in the power of knowledge and that's why we offer a variety of opportunities for our members to attend training sessions, workshops, and events that allow them to gain new skills, insights, and inspiration. Connect with changemakers
We understand the importance of building a community and connecting with like-minded individuals. That's why we offer a dedicated space where you can connect with others who share your interests and values. Our local community can benefit you in many ways. For instance, you can gain new customers for your business, find potential co-workers or collaborators, and even make new friends.
Partnerships
We believe in creating a supportive environment where people can learn, grow, and improve their skills. One of the ways we do this is by partnering with like-minded organisations, such as Female Ventures and MKB Rotterdam-Rijnmond, non-profit organisations that are dedicated to stimulating and supporting ambition, leadership, and entrepreneurship (for women) in corporates, SMEs, and startups.
Supporting social entrepreneurs
We are always looking for partnerships with local and social entrepreneurs to support our community. For instance, we work with lunchbunch, a catering company that collaborates with individuals who are distant from the job market, to provide lunch catering.
Local initiatives
We collaborate with local initiatives to increase our positive impact in the neighborhood. For instance, we are involved in a new initiative called 'Rondje Coolhaven', which aims to connect the broader Coolhaven community by organising cultural activities and events for everyone in the neighborhood. These gatherings and meetings are hosted free of cost at The Sandbox.
Female leadership
Both founders of the Sandbox are female leaders. They actively supports the female leadership movement and participates in panel discussions to empower and support other women.
